OnePlus previously announced that the company would be providing after sales support and warranty to users of the OnePlus One in India who purchased the device from the official website — oneplus.net. This meant that users of the Chinese variant would be left out on the warranty fun, because the Chinese variant is China only, but did end up in a lot of hands worldwide thanks to there being no invite system in place for China.

After the launch in New Delhi earlier today, Gadgets to Use reports, OnePlus announced that after-sales support and warranty would be provided to users of the Chinese variant as well. Since the Chinese and the international versions of the OnePlus One come with essentially identical hardware (save for some network band support), re-sellers in China started shipping the Chinese version worldwide, some even offering to flash CyanogenMod over the stock ColorOS.

The 64GB One will is now available in India at 21,999 INR or a little over US$350, and the general consensus is that OnePlus have pulled off pricing better than expected. There’s no sign of a 16GB variant yet, but it’s being said that the 16GB One will be available for under 20,000 INR in the country.
