Eagle eyed GizChina reader discovers the hidden specifications for the upcoming Elephone P3000S (6752) update
Elephone keep on pushing the competition with new phones and updates every month. The company are forging ahead and trying to offer their customers phones with the latest hardware as quickly as possible.
One of the fastest ways to get the latest hardware in to the hands of users is to update existing devices this is how the P3000S came about which will soon be updated further still!
The next instalment of the Elephone range will be the Elephone P3000S (6752), and as the name suggests this smartphone gets an octacore Mediatek MT6752 chipset. Thats the same 64bit chip that Meizu just launched in the m1 note, and will give the Elephone P3000S the same dual LTE capability.

Along with the update in processor, the P3000S (6752) will also see a rise in RAM to 3GB, making the phone quite a powerful device to own.
So far those are the only updates we can see on the device the rest of the phone will feature the same 13 mega-pixel main camera, 5-inch display and rear mounted fingerprint scanner the current phone offers.

Even if the phone was the most powerful one in the world and they offered me for 0$, I would only take it to buy it afterwards. This might be world’s most horrible design ever in a smartphone.
Yes the design is not for anyone’s taste! For me if it’s cheap I will take it. Elephone lost me with the p5000 this phone should also have the New chip but they use the old one! The same happen with the p3000s and now trying to get into the new boat!
Please stfu and know what your talking about, they decided to make two versions of the p5000 (3G & 4G) because most people around the world don’t have access to 4G connectivity so…

i prefer more round designs, withouth that many edges, the phone seems horrible to look and to hold in the hand
Too bad the horrid design of the device, they released beautiful devices lately, but this one is not one of them…
I won’t settle for anything less than Android L. There will be more appeal if they upgrade OS to Android 5.0.
The camera if the same as the normal P3000s is not 13mpix, its a interpolatet OV8865 sensor, acording to elephones forum

OV sensor not necessarily bad (see DG850) and Sony not always better, but probably best run at native resolutions
No thats right, but as my understanding, the Dg850 have the never 13mpix sensor from omnivision.
The HUGE ugly logo on their phones is HUGE turnoff.
Elephone? I wil never bought one of this pones, i have the p3000s and it has no 13mpx sony camera, it has 8mpx interpolated ov sensor and no gyroscope.

Price?
They announce and announce new phones, but they dont actually sell it or finish them on time… I’m still waiting, for example, for P4000 announced for November, and now missing with a “Time to be confirmed” message on their website…
Of course they need to “update” their models… because they are old when they release them!!! XDDDDDD
Personaly I like the design. I wanted to know why do you call a nice design ? I also like those which are really dark (like Archos), it’s classy. And Apple is too womanish for me.

The others are rather bland.
Received mine. It had a faulty speaker. Not working. And the flash light blends throu camera housing making pictures in dark get blenden by led light. Otherwise its fast. Nice screen. Wifi and 3g has low signal tho. And bad sound from 3.5mm
