One of the main problems with WhatsApp, and therefore one of the most wanted features, has always been its lack of a desktop client. Many developers have tried to bring something that could fix this issue, but until now, there hasn’t been any significant solution. This is about to change though, as a new app called “WhatsCloud” has managed to finally bring a true desktop experience to WhatsApp and now using it from web can be exactly as using it on your smartphone.
Important: WhatsCloud needs a rooted device to work.

The app works in a very simple way: once its installation is completed, just launch the app and follow the instructions on how to create an account. When this is done, WhatsCloud will show a 6 digit key that will be required when you login via web. Now, just go from your favorite browser to https://whatscloud.io/, input your login details, the 6 digits key and you’re good to go. The first login will require a short sync of your last 20 messages of your every unique conversation. When this is done too, everything is set and you can start texting and receiving multimedia files just as you were on your smartphone.

Quite a good one. Now I can talk to friends via my laptop. But I have been doing this though with the Bluestack App Player. I use it to emulate Android on my WIndows 8.1
Can you do whatsapp through bluestack?
Yes he can and almost every apps.
How do you confirm your phone number? I tried but no avail.
You will fail to confirm your number for the first time. Try it for the second time and I succeed everytime I do it for the second time.
This is from Wikihow:
Because BlueStacks is on your computer, but the SMS is sent to your phone, the initial verification will fail. You will need to try the verification a second time and have WhatsApp call you. You will receive a call with an automated message with the code to type in.

Yes but it will log you out of your phone. You can’t receive messages on both at the same time unless you use WhatsCloud.
If you use Bluestack, you won’t be able to log in from your phone then. With WhatsCloud you can have both

Multiple ACTIVE whatsapp sessions on a mobil device fucking when?
I’m tired of losing important messages because I forgot to do the titanium backup profile dance every 30min.
They you should switch to Google Hangouts. Hangouts w/ Google Voice integration trumps EVERYTHING out there today by a mile.
Probably…never! WhatsApp isn’t meant for multiple active sessions. For now, at least, we all hope they reconsider

Or just use Telegram Messenger which does this out of the box?
If you can convince 700,000,000 users to switch to Telegram, it’s a viable option 😉
my contact are smart people and they uses telegram, mister. I don’t talk to 700,000,000 people, but thanks anyway
Your contacts will have to convince their contacts to use Telegram, and they will have to convince their contacts and so on for about forever.
Sure, on the paper Telegram is the better app, but the fact that everyone has WhatsApp can’t be ignored.
They use Telegram because their contacts are on it.
lucky you 😉

Hmmm… You really think this is a big problem with What’s App? The issue of remote PC use barely makes it onto my radar.
The REAL problem with What’s App is that they stubbornly refuse to let you associate multiple phone numbers with a single account. So if you travel and have multiple phone numbers, then you end up with messages going to phones that are not currently in use. The problem comes up also for people that have separate personal and work phone. You never know which device your contacts will send messages to.
They could easily solve this problem, and have all messages go to all phones (and even other devices like PCs and tablets), if they’d take a play from Google’s playbook (or Microsoft’s) and copy what they do for Hangouts and Skype.
The real problem… for you. The majority of the userbase has only one phone number, so what you’re asking it’s not a big deal for them.
WhatsApp has way bigger problems than this
