Our Ulefone Be Pro smartphone arrived for review this morning and we have wasted no time running a couple of benchmarks on the phone to see how the 64bit MT6732 performs with 2GB RAM.
A few weeks ago we received the Elephone P6000, and were eager to test the performance of that quad-core 64bit phone. The results were impressive even with only 1GB RAM, so when the Ulefone Be Pro arrived with the same chip and 2GB RAM we broke out the benchmarking apps.
The Ulefone Be Pro is the mid-range Ulefone for early 2015 and I have to say I am very impressed with the build and finish. I’ll go over my full thoughts in a later post, but so far it’s looking rather good.
As the Be Pro only arrived a few moments ago (and I couldn’t wait to post the news) I have just ran a few benchmarks to give you an idea of what to expect from the Ulefone.

Thats a good performance. I have been considering to purchase this as a second phone for my fiancee (Second to the LG Optimus G Pro). I am guessing she will like this even more.
Andi do you know of any MT6732/MT6752 phone with 32GB ROM? I cant seem to find any and they are all shipping with 16GB ROM. Thanks 🙂
If you need great perfomance at low price, choose one of MTK6732, Elephone P6000 if you prefer 5″ or Ulefone Be Pro if you want a big device.
If you need awesome perfomance, with FHD resolution, I would recommend you the Jiayu S3.
I know all the phones until now have only 16GB, but you can put a MicroSD on it, 16, 32, 64 and even 128GB. So that’s not a con.
It’s a nice phone. It reminds me of the stuff Huawei and ZTE started with ie a good quality phone but with no design direction of their own. I believe that in a year or so we could see some really impressive stuff from Ulefone. Certainly a company to watch and off to a great start!
As a budget chipset I doubt that any manufacturer will go for the more expensive 32GB of built in memory. Budget devices rely heavy on SD card purchases, most manufacturers will even pair it with 8GB to cut down costs ever further.
I agree. I doubt they will use this configuration of a budget processor with so much ROM. But I think SD-cards are better anyway; cheaper to update your memory with and can be replaced and easily switched.
Meizu m1 note has option to purchase in 16gb or upgrade to 32gb for around additional $40 ive seen it on fastcardtech or dhgate

You really cant see any difference between FHD and 720p HD at that screen size. So no need for the extra stress on the GPU to push the 2x pixels
Will, I do some reviews from time to time and I can definitely see the difference on 5.5″ devices. Although the underlying technology is more important; good IPS screen, OGS, IGZO, whatever but it can be seen. And with the new processors these days I was hoping the impact on performance wouldn’t be that big a deal anymore.
But that is different for everyone of course 🙂 Some people want all the Antutu power they can get ^_^ But seriously, 720p on 5.5″ is still very good of course, it’s just that since my iOcean X7 I’ve been watching to a 1080p screen, iOcean G7 came after that, Kingzone K1 Turbo, UMI Zero, they all have 1080p and it would feel like ‘going backwards’ while even maybe that wouldn’t really be the case.

Thanks! But elephone p6000 also has 2 GB of ram, and same screen resolution, so if there are differences, they would come from rom/ram memory speeds and software optimization. But it’s great to have those bench, this new SOC seems really great compared to old gen MTK, and between a s600 and s800. It would be nicer to have deeper tests about battery life, cuz on paper elephone p6000 would last way longer due to it’s smaller screen and slightly bigger battery. FWI, with 5 inches mtk 6589 and 2500 mah battery, I can last 48 hours with normal use (mail, browsing, music, a bit of videogames and GPS)
MT6732 is way above the S600. Not to be compared at all. Much closer to the S800. My fiancee’s Optimus G Pro manages 22,000+ on antutu and thats 10,000 below MT6732. Plus other individual tests too, its much lower too even with multitasking.
Performance is pretty much the same on both chipsets, although the S600 is more feature rich, do not be fooled by Antutu that much. My Jiayu S1 scores 29500 which is pretty close, 3D at 1080p is 7397, so it`s basically non-existent.
You should remember that this is not the old Cortex A7s but a 64bit A53s. With Lollipop updates in the near future, even the S800 will likely be beaten by the MT6732.
And I dont agree with your saying that the S600 is more feature rich than the MT6732. I have used a phone with S600 and I know what its performance is like for day 2 day usage and even for multitasking. Maybe thats good enough for you but not for me.
I believe that the 64bit architecture will supersede these 32bit ones ones manufacurers adopt the 64bit Lollipop. So the MT6732 is more future-proof than your S600.
I am definitely interested to see how this phone performs with the Lollipop update. I’m also curious how many apps will come out that actually take advantage of the 64-bit platform.
I don’t think feature rich is something you can use to describe a Qualcomm chipset. In terms of features, both chipsets have about the same features, with the MTK6732 having 64-bit capabilities and the S600 being able to support FHD displays.
If it were between this and the Jiayu S3, which are you going to choose ?
When comparing Jiayu to any other(Besides the top Chinese brands) the answer will always be Jiayu.
I hear so many mixed reactions to this. Some people won’t ever buy anything Jiayu again while others will do so without a doubt. I am still using a Jiayu G3 which is how many years old? 3 of 4 already? I forgot but it still runs great with custom rom, all modern apps work and battery life is outstanding.
Other people have different experiences, also with customer service: I read a lot about bad customer service while I have sent mine back because of a purple-screen problem: got it back in 5 weeks. So, the more people, the more different experiences I guess 😀
I prefer to give new companies a try. I bought a UMI Zero which was my worst buy ever and I will buy a Ulefone because..well, I dunno..because :p
More to your question: Jiayu S3 has better specs but I think the Ulefone will be available sooner.
I’ve never actually met someone who dislikes JiaYu. People who dislike their delays, yes. People who hate the phones, no. Also, G3 is around 2 years old now. Customer service problems are normally caused by the reseller, not the brand in question.
