Ah we do love a leak, especially one made possible thanks to 3rd party accessory makers. That’s the type of leak we have here, and it gives us some clues for the upcoming Huawei P8.
It is very likely (judging by all the leaks and rumours) that Huawei will soon unveil a new flagship phone, aka the Huawei P8.
We have heard reports that the P8 will sport a 5.2-inch FHD display with Gorilla Glass 3, Kirin 930 16nm processor and might even included a dual 13 mega-pixel rear camera arrangement.
As for the design a slim 6.9mm body is likely, and should prove thick enough for the purported 2600mAh battery.
We can also take some details away from these photos which apparently show a protective cover for the P8. The biggest giveaway being the large cut out in the rear where a fingerprint scanner will probably be located.

The case also shows the main camera will be located in the right hand corner and a volume rocker and power button will also be on the right. The 3.5mm headphone jack seems to be in the top with USB in the base.
As for a launch date we might be lucky to see the Huawei Ascend P8 at MWC, while other reports say an April launch in London is more likely.

It’s probably fake .
Because the space for the Finger print Scanner is way too big . Mate 7 has a Scanner. It’s not that big like this one .
Its a false rumour .
Moreover in recent leaks I am not so impressed by the Huawei P8 .
With 16nm processing chip Kirin 930 it should have scored above 50,000 in AnTuTu .
And Geeks benchmark both multi and single core results are not that good ,Comparing to HTC M9 and Galaxy S6 .
I used a few Huawei phones and I love there design but I want more performance from them .
Still wish a great phone from Huawei . Specially hope it has a dual 13 MP camera .
If the P8 has a dual camera setup (which i doubt) then the phone would be straight up competition with flagships of Samsung, HTC, LG, et al. Otherwise it is more of a competition with likes of Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
Does it make any sense to make a new Flagship phone to compete against a 6 month old flagship .
I really don’t understand Huawei’s strategy .
Mate series is suppose to be more premium then P-series .
But Mate is a phablet series not a phone .
While I saw that Mate and P-series phones are more premium build then Honor series .
So, Won’t they want to have a top Graded and Premium Phone series .
I meant a competition against their flagships of 2015. Not 2014. And by galaxy alpha i meant in that category of phones where have top notch built quality matters more than being the 1st rank in antutu.
P series although a flagship was always on the side of being more about its build quality than just battery or power of chip. But P6 and P7 were both having 6month outdated chips. The kirin 930 with 64bit and 16nm (first of its kind) is actually a great change. The benchmarks should be higher but need to see the details of the GPU as there was always a problem of the GPU being on the weak side compared to Qualcomm. Even then with a finger print and dual camera and 2600 mAh in a 6mm slim profile (unlike the the 7mm of Samsung S6 and way thicker HTC M9, with the same battery size), it to me seems like the P8 is being put to compete with the flagships of 2015.
Other tweaks is also the speaker has been moved to the bottom, hence avoiding the complain many had with the back placement.
I use P6 and some one real close to me use P7 .
Both of them are excellently build .
After using P6 , I didn’t bought P7 . I felt it wasn’t a worthy upgrade (though it’s a very good phone)
I have high hopes for P8 and want to buy it .
And what you want to buy you definitely want it to be fantastic .
Fingers crossed and hope it will be perfect .
