Phone maker Blackview are launching the new Alife P1 Pro with a flash new design and built in fingerprint scanner.
Blackview made a little noise at the start of the year with the release of the Blackview S1 and a pair of helmet mounted action cameras. The latest phone to fly the Blackview flag is another smartphone this time with a nice new design and up to date specs.
From a design stand point Blackview have gone for a sleek, stylish design with a 2.5D arc glass display up front, and gold chassis as a nice contrast against the white face and rear. The display on the phone is a 5.5-inch panel (the standard for the year) with a resolution of 1280 x 720 making it a HD panel similar to the one found on the Ulefone Be Touch.
Gizchina News of the week
Like the Be Touch, Blackview have opted to add a fingerprint scanner on the P1 Pro for added security but under a front facing physical home button ala Meizu rather than on the rear of the phone.
A quad-core MT6735 chipset brings with it 64bit architecture to run Android 5.1 smoothly along with 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and dual band WIFI. Memory is 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.
That slim gold chassis might look thin, but it is thick enough for a 3000mAh battery to live inside, space for a 32GB SD card, dual LTE SIM cards and 13 mega-pixel rear and 5 mega-pixel front cameras.
More details of the Blackview Alife P1 Pro can be seen over on the official Blackview website, however pricing and a launch date are still to be released.
This phone looks like a reborn Galaxy Note 1, from another mother. But I actually appreciate the design.
I like the design too
is there still any real reason to buy the elephone p7000?
These days you got so many interesting phones:
the oukitel u8
the mlais m7
the zeaplus m7
the mlais mX
the bluboo x550
the bluboo x500
this backview
the siswoo c55
the siswoo c50
the meizu note2
HELL even the elephone p8000 looks more appealing (if you’re good with their signature messed up roms)
And I’m sure I forgot some!!
Elephone screwed the p7000 so badly when they delayed the release for 5 months..
Now it’s too late, way too late in my opinion
They managed to do some sales during presale event with a good price but there’s no way they are going to sell any unit at the regular price.
yea… bad marketing kills revenue
also heard about p7000 has ugly design
I had a terrible experience with the P2000. I wanted to give them another chance, but after hearing the issues with the QA and camera I decided to cancel my preorder.
my P2000 touchscreen stopped responding after 5 months of use. It’s a common problem with this phone and something no reviewer can tell.
can somebody tell me ,which phone actually beats the Jiayu s3 3g at 190.-$, looks are not my priority
I guess there are three truly decent phone in that price range.
Jiayu S3, Ecoo E04 Plus and THL 2015, all they are good but also all they have their flaws, personally I choose Jiayu S3.
If looks are not important to you than the Zenfone 2 is the best phone in that price range. I think it’s one of the ugliest phones ever made but for the money you can’t beat it. The S3 is also an excellent phone. If you live in one of their launch countries the Mi4i is a good option and if you like Flyme the M1 Note. Those are in my opinion the best phones in the under $250 range.
looks good !
New Alife P1 Pro is even slower than my 4 years old Galaxy S3

Skip to 2:00 to see the slowness.
All other phone sent to reviewer most probably having higher spec (MT6735) compared to the one sold to consumer (MT6735M).
It also overheats very much:::::
