Ulefone Be Touch 2 sales kick off at only $179.99

ulefone be touch 2

Ulefone kick of the first sales of the Ulefone Be Touch 2 with a special introduction price of just $179.99.

While it might come as a bit of a surprise that Ulefone have release an updates 2nd generation Be Touch, it in fact really shouldn’t. If you cast your mind back to early leaks of the original Be Touch there was some confusion over the resolution of the display, which was later cleared up with Ulefone stating that they would more than likely release a 2nd phone with FHD panel to compliment the first HD release, and here it is in the form of the Ulefone Be Touch 2.

Design-wise the Ulefone Be Touch 2 flaunts the same magnesium alloy frame as the Be Touch along with a 2.5D glass display with oleophobic coating to make it less vulnerable to fingerprints and spears. The body hasn’t been unchanged though. The rear panel will is still removable and will be offered in bright colours plus a denim and silk covered option.

Upfront the Be Touch 2 will also retain the same fingerprint scanner built in the home button. This is a pretty neat feature and means no more double tap then unlock or power button then swipe and password to unlock. Once set up all it requires is a single press of the finger and the scanner will check your fingerprint and decide to open up.

Gizchina News of the week

As already mentioned the Be Touch 2 has a FHD 1920 x 1080 resolution display rather than a HD panel, and will also have the battery updates to a 3050mAh solid-state polymer option for longer running time. Other detsils include a newer MT6752 chipset running a 1.3Ghz (the same as the M2 note), 3GB RAM, 16GB storage, SD card support, Android 5.1 and Sony IMX214 main camera.

Even with the updated screen and larger battery, Ulefone will be selling the Be Touch 2 for a limited time at just $179.99. How long the offer will last and what the final pricing will be remains to be seen.

The offer will stand till 1st of July. They will have 10 pieces available every day (17:00 GTM+8) on Gearbest. So..different phone, same shit. The same problems as with the Elephone P7000 will happen: website overload and you will never ever buy the Ulefone be Touch 2 for 180 dollars.

    Good luck 😉

could be the 6753… still, it’s a downgrade for those not in need of “worldwide lte”. the battery’s too small for 5,5″ FHD, too. would be nice with a good HD only and the 3050mah battery. but well, will need to wait a bit longer for my perfect phone… 🙁

          June 15, 2015

this COULD be perfect if they manage to pull off a remarkable optimization on the hardware they are using…
sadly , we all know thats a long loong shot with these chinese companies…

i guess its the same case for both o’ us , just keep waiting 🙂

hey andy, totally OT, but important for me: will you review the TCL 3S?
seems like a good speced phone at a reasonable price with neat design. 😉

Now I am confused. Ulefone Be Touch 2 or Asus Zenfone 2 4GB /64GB

Me thinks I am going for the Asus. But this Ulefone sure is a looker.

    • mike fiera
      June 15, 2015

      I have the Asus 4gb/64gb.
Battery life was completely shocking at first, but Asus have been super quick with updates, and, is one hell of a lot better now. Functionality is pretty sweet, But it’s not currently my fav. and no fingerprint unlock which let’s it down a bit.

      • June 15, 2015

One reason why I would choose the Asus is the 64GB built in ROM. Thats an advantage against the 16GB for the Ulefone. Though I know that I can upgrade that of Ulefone with the SD card but if I buy the Asus, that also will get upgraded with an SD card and I dont like installing my apps into the SD cos of slow R/W speeds.

MT6735 at 1.3 Ghz must be a mistake – M2 Note doesn’t have this either.

      June 15, 2015

MTK6735 is some chipset made by the writer himself? I only know MediaTek has a MTK6753 chipset with 1.3Ghz. What’s more, the Ulefone Be Touch 2 packs the MTK6752 chipset with 1.7Ghz, as the official site shows. I think Ulefone wouldn’t make a top-heavy product. GizChian should feel shamed of this.

The article headline is completely misleading. Where are the details of the $179 sale of the Be Touch? There is zero mention of this, yet the writer chose to refer to it in the headline.
In fact, I would even say that this article adds no value over the one that was published about a week ago.

    • June 16, 2015

Where does it say in the article that readers need to go to the Ulefone website for details of the flash sale?

For an article that is headlined the way it is, I would expect some mention of the flash sale in the article body. At the very least, some reference to the sale, with an instruction on where to find details. Neither of these are contained in the article.

Nevertheless, I have clicked through to the Ulefone website via the link in the footer of the article – and still nothing on the flash sale. The only ways I could find any information about it was:
        1. Read the information posted by other tech blog sites

        2. Read the user comments posted here by fellow readers.

              1. I’ve asked them, and now waiting for reply
              2. Free Flat Rate with tracking number
              3. I don’t know, what post service they will use. I was in the rush, so I had no time to think, because I read on some forum, one guy tried to buy something on a flash sale, and had managed only to put his good in the cart, but when he went through to the payment, the price had changed to default.
              4. How could I get it. I bought it only today:)
              5. A standard process. First page shows your order, then you press “Proceed to check out”, then go to PayPal.
