Green Orange were at one point in time quite popular. The company was at its peak when the Green Orange N1 first came out… thinking of it now, its been quite a while.
The ‘Standard Edition’ of the Green Orange N2 just went on sale in China, and that’s why we’re talking about this almost-forgotten company. The N2 Standard Edition comes with a MediaTek MT6735 processor and 2GB RAM, so it isn’t going to be the most powerful phone of this year.
Nonetheless, the USP of this phone happens to be the design more than anything else, and that’s what probably allows Green Orange to charge $320 for it.

Other specifications of this phone include a 5.5-inch display, a 13 mega-pixel rear camera and a 5 mega-pixel front facing camera. The phone will ship with just 16GB of on-board ROM, but thanks to a hybrid SIM/microSD tray, you’ll be able to expand storage by another 128GB.
The battery on this phone is a 2850mAh unit, which I’m guessing is non-removable in nature. Nothing out of the world here, but again, it’s the design which the company is betting on, which seems as impressive as older Green Orange phones. Nonetheless, does it warrant a $320/1999 Yuan price tag?

I believe it’s the thickness of the metal band that runs around the chassis.
Yeah, I thought so, but why even mentioning it? I don’t get that sort of marketing bs. It doesn’t mean anything, at least not to average smartphone user with half a brain.
Zenfone 2 did a similar thing. The phone gets thick in the middle so they just advertised how thin the edges are.. lol. I think I even saw some positive comments on it so that’s your average smartphone user.

Yeah, 6.5mm on V3, when it was actually 8mm at least, and somewhere near the camera almost 9mm. And still it was selling as hot potatoe.

Ouch that’s very expensive. And no fingerprint sensor… must have some really great components inside, otherwise I really don’t understand the price. Meizu MX4 (and probably MX5) are cheaper, and have much better hardware.
