It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited about a Doogee phone. The leaked specifications of this new phone call for the excitement, as you shall read.
The Doogee DG700 Pro just leaked with the impressive Helio X10 processor (as seen on the LeTV S1) and some other powerful internals that’ll make you drool over this (in-the-making) phone. To start off, the DG700 Pro will have either 3GB or 4GB of RAM to make it a complete multitaskers’ haven. Besides, if the leaked shot is to be believed, it’ll also end your battery woes with a massive 6000mAh battery.

Now, that is quite a lot of tech for a phone, no? I think so too. There’s more, if you’re a fan of one handed phone usage; the leak claims the phone will have a 5-inch 1920 x 1080p display. That would be cool, because to be very honest, it has been a while since a good, powerful 5 incher came from China.
Word is that the phone will also be of the ‘rugged’ kind, so expect it to have a thick rubber shell around it. More details will be posted as they come, stay tuned!

Mi4i, OPPO R7 and Lenovo Vibe Shot were all 5 inches and very good phones.
Mi4i lacks SD slot and the other 2 are both overpriced. I would love to see Jiayu S3 with 5″ (or even 4,7″), with the same specs and price.
You mean the JiaYu S4? I believe that’s highly ranked among the 2015 Vaporware award nominees – for the second year in succession…
I meant S3. S3 would be a perfect phone for me if it had 5″ or smaller display. I don’t believe the S4, which was supposed to be exactly this, will ever be released.
R7 is overpriced as most OPPOs are. But Vibe Shot at $349 is a great price considering how great that camera is.
But if you compare it with Nubia Z9 mini, it offers the same 16 MPx camera sensor for $80 less and without the terrible Lenovo bloatware.
I would not search further and get the Nubia Z9 mini if it only had 800 MHz LTE. It really is a problem here, because 3G is only available in big cities and everywhere else is only LTE 800 or 900 MHz.
Nubia’s UI is just as terrible, actually all things considered I would choose Lenovos over it. What are you getting for that extra $80 though? For starters your getting 1 extra GB of memory and 16GB more rom. Lenovo also supports the 800 band.
I was highly interested in the Lenovo Vibe Shot, but every review I find reports about complaints of the non-rooted, excessively bloated ROm that’s taking the fun out of this phone.
Lenovo’s Vibe UI isnt the best but their camera app is one of the best stock camera apps available. The good news though is Lenovo usually has excellent support from the community. Usually MIUI, CM, Xperia and several other ROMs are available for their flagship models. Theres also usually several forked versions of their own VIBE UI which gets rid of the bloat and fixes some of the annoyances with it.
If the price drops below $300 and somewhere appears a good alternative ROM, I will start thinking about getting the phone.
Very cool indeed. I just lost my original DG 700 and I want to replace it but wanted more storage and a better camera. Otherwise was thrilled with the phone. I work on ships and need a phone that can be fumbled into an inch of water on deck without an issue. The hardware button flashlight and the durability and the gigantic battery were all major selling points. Miss that thing already. But not the camera.
Build in walkie-talkie functionality and the value will double.

You know there several apps that can turn any phone into a push to talk (walkie talkie) phone?
unaware of any that will let me listen in on and talk with jobsite radios, police-type Motorola EG328 UHF radios.

hope new Titans Pro will retain shiny steel corners and original styling…uninterested in a rubber brick.
I don’t know about doing that but if you just want a push to talk phone like a Nextel, there are apps that if you and your friend both have that app you can talk to each other like a Nextel.

Tengda made phones with built-in walkie talkie hardware … Useful. To communicate with other walkie talkies -not phones. Quite a nice feature on a phone for people in walkie talkie environments – might not not have to carry a separate radio just to listen in.

Lookin’ for something even smaller… but depending on bezels and frames, could be OK. 5″ and 6,000 mAh means… how thick? Hope not far away from 12-13mm (that’d be great!)

Since Doogee does not offer upgrades that a normal person can do, I won’t be buying another one of their phones. My Voyager is a decent phone but if I try to upgrade it to 5.0 based information available on Doogee’s website, I run a very high risk of bricking the phone so no thanks. 3-6 months from now when I really start to look for a new phone, I won’t be looking at anything Doogee has to offer.
