Video: MIJUE presents their new T500 boasting MT6752

This year the mid-range market in China was stormed by several powerful devices, but this does not mean that there is no room for more! MIJUE, a very new player, presents their 64bit MIJUE T500.

The new device comes to compete with devices already launched in the segment, such as Elephone P7000, Mlais M7 and Zeaplus M7. The MIJUE T500 boasts the powerful combination of the MT6752 1.7Ghz chipset coupled with 3GB of Ram and 16GB of Storage.

The T500 does not bring anything really new to the segment, and particularly bears similarities with the recently reviewed Mstar S700 and the not yet released Zeaplus M7. The device packs a 5.5-inch 1080p screen (and we are happy to mention there are no black frame) , a 5MP front-facing camera with LED Flash and also comes with a alloy frame giving a sturdy appearance to the body.

In the rear we have a 13MP main shooter and a touch-based Fingerprint scanner. The phone also supports dual-sim  850/900/1800/1900MHz, WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz, FDD-LTE B1/B3/B7/B20 networks, everything is powered by a 3500mAh battery that if turns to be accurate promises enough juice for this beast.

The initial pricing of the MIJUE of T500 sits at $199, which is not bad if the they deliver all the promised specs, but not so attractive for a very new company in such a bustling market. What do you guys think?

whats the point in CLONING specs and design as well as PRICES …. unless there’s some unique feature within the phone frame OR an unbeatable price

How are you getting it so quickly? As far as I can see it hasn’t been released yet, can’t even find it anywhere for pre-sale!

well , afaik , Zeaplus , apart from all the “clone” bashing , hasnt sounded so awful … infact there have been some positive rumblings about it
so hopefully it’ll be a good device.

do let me know how it pans out !

Its zeaplus m7 re-branding. Almost the same in every aspect (design, specs, price accessories and color available). The only difference is the battery size i think which is something that can not trusted in Chinese manufacturers.

I think even battery is the same, so Zeaplus claimed that M7 has a 3800mah, but it’s a true 3500.

‘We are happy to mention there are no black frame’, really? Take another look at the pic as there is most definitely one there, admittedly not as thick as the elephone version but nevertheless it is still there.

The LG G3 has black bezels like this one, but I don’t hear anyone complaining about that. Why? Because it’s LG and costs more than double?
By the way, in the video the screen looks quite nice.

If they are competing on specs, why don’t they include the newer Exmor IMX214 sensor? I believe this one also has the IMX135.

because it’s the same thing, the IMX214 supports 4k and 240fps but the MTK6752 does not, only the HELIO X10 does

If they cut the price as what Zeaplus did with the M7 it’s a no brainier! I really like it.

zeaplus doesn’t got a price cut, the $30 discount is without shipping costs 🙂

True, but I visited the site before two days and now it seems that they’re offering free shipping yay! $30 less for a basically the same phone. btw I don’t know what’s the period of the flash sale, may be it will end soon.

actually, mijue is not a new player, has been around since a few years, for sure it’s not among the most appreciated or original OEMs, but it’s not a new brand.

FINALLY a phone without those orrible black bezels!
The rear speaker and the lack of irda are the only let down for me… Not something one can’t live without, to’

One I like the babes too but regarding the build of the phone, it looks a lot like a plastic version of the Elephone P7000…

Always thought that the Mijue is the OEM/ODM that made phones for Mlais & Tiahne
