Meizu’s m2 note may be the most talked about Meizu phone at the moment, but don’t forget that the company also has an affordable series of non-phablets going.
The Meizu m1 was launched way back at the start of this year (doesn’t that sound like a long time back, after the reduced time between flagship launches?), and it appears as though the Chinese company is ready to give it a refresh. Which is why, the Meizu m2 just dropped by at TENAA to get network certificaition.
Gizchina News of the week
The device was certified in three variants — M578M, M578U and M578C — the difference between which isn’t clear as yet. Besides that, the m2 will be to the m1 what the m2 note is to the m1 note; a minor refresh. As for the choice of SoCs goes, it’ll most likely be the new MediaTek MT6735, which is pretty entry-level to be honest.
Nonetheless, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM should help the cause. What are your expectations with the Meizu m2?

Of course 2gb ram. And also, well optimized stock version of Android. Because, Flyme os and its software suck on performance. After my m1 note experience and before I buy a new Meizu phone, Meizu needs to prove its software quality or optimization. That’s all.
You will never see stock Android on Meizu. Flyme had some issues on M1 but its actually a really good OS that is easy to use, fast and efficient.
