Today the Meizu M2 goes on sale to customers in China from 10am, while international buyers can pick up the device for $149.99.
Meizu’z m2 might only be a slight update over the original m1 which launched in January, but with its low price it does offer a surprisingly complete package.
Costing $149.99 for international buyers, the Meizu m2 boasts the same polycarbonate design as previous Meilan phones, with the new addition of a physical home button.

Meizu have swapped the chipset for a quad-core MT6735 chip that reportedly offers similar power as earlier 64bit Mediatek processors but offers better LTE support and lower power consumption. The 2GB RAM stays but internal memory is bumped to 16GB and the option to use a 128GB SD card remains also.
The new Meizu m2 has the option to run dual 4G LTE cards (if you choose not to have a second sim). The screen is a 5-inch 720p IPS model and cameras are a 5 mega-pixel front and 13 mega-pixel rear.
Another feature is Flyme 4.5 based on Android 5.0 which offers all the same powerful features (bar the fingerprint settings) as Flyme on the flagship Meizu MX5.
