Today was the first day of open sales for the OnePlus 2 in China with 30,000 phones selling out in just 64 seconds.
While the rest of the world has to deal with the OnePlus 2 invite system (unless you manage to hack it), Chinese customers are going through the usual flash sale routine we have seen used by Meizu, Xiaomi and others.
Today was the first day that Chinese customers (who had reserved a OP2) were able to actually make payment for the phone and expect delivery of it in a few days time. The sale lasted just 64 seconds before the first batch of 30,000 phones managed to sell out.
Gizchina News of the week
As well as Chinese customers, scalpers and fans, a number of resellers in China are also likely to have bought the OnePlus 2, so expect Chinese versions of the flagship phone to go on sale with out invite through third party sellers soon.
Ironically OnePlus tries to hide it’s OP2 fingerprint scanner in every graphical image, for example the one used in this article. Even in their website https://oneplus.net/ I am being welcomed with image, in which bottom is hidden.
Coincidence, or OnePlus thinks it looks bad ?
No, your just thinking about it too hard & you need glasses
Considering how many arguments and logical sense I see in your comment, I assume that’s you in your profile picture.
Oh god. kkkkkk lol lmao
But again, no. OP2 is made for geeks. And as geeks as we are, we already know there is fingerprint sensor. And instead of advertising that is more appropriate to advertise the how “look” the phone is.
Being sarcastic isnt a crime
marketing stunt … not sure if the numbers are real
I bet they are real, a good number of phones are bought by resellers to be sold in other countries.
Lol that is a small number xiaomi phones got sold out in like 5 secs
