Look out Xiaomi, LeTV getting in on the low-cost router action

Xiaomi aren’t the only ones with a low-cost dual antenna WIFI router available. LeTV have also shown off their small black offering with a few screen shots of the accompanying app.

From online streaming, to TV’s to Android phones and even a smart bike, LeTV are really getting about and launching plenty of intriguing products. While their main hardware products and service are what they are famous for, LeTV also make headphones, and now have a small dual antenna router for Le Fans.

Not surprisingly the LetV router looks like Xiaomi’s budget mini WIFI router but the design is less like an Apple mouse mat and more a little more unique.

Gizchina News of the week

This basic router has no internal storage, but with a special app you will be able to connect to the router through your LeTV account which give access to cloud storage also.

Full specs haven’t been revealed but expect support for both 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz WIFI, and we can also see dual ethernet ports and a green LED on the front.

Also in LeTV news, my LeTV Le Max phone has apparently arrived at my home and is waiting to be unboxed when I get back from Shenzhen so stay tuned for that!

Thanks to Tadej Brunsek over on the GizChina core for the tip!

Mediatek has a rooter SoC with GPU( MT7683) so you can integrate a (touch)screen. Was looking forward to seeing some products with it ,one could do some pretty cool things. Yet to spot any products using it, guess it’s a bit too soon.
