Video: Ulefone show of Be Touch 2 screen gestures

Screen gestures are a feature that we all take for granted now, but what we like to see are gestures that continue to work even when a fingerprint scanner is active like here on the Ulefone Be Touch 2.

It can be a tricky balance to get both secrity and convenience right on a smartphone. On one hand you want a fingerprint scanner that can keep your data nice and safe, but on the other hand you don’t want to have to keep unlocking your phone for simple tasks like music control and taking a quick photo.

We have seen phones in the past offer gesture controls and a fingerprint scanner, but there have been ROMS that mean you still need you scan your fingerprint to activate those simply operations. Ulefone say they have been listening to their customers feedback and have have gotten the perfect balance or conveniece and security with their Be Touch 2.

Gizchina News of the week

If you didn’t watch the video it basically shows how the Be Touch 2 can be safely locked with a fingerprint, but with onscreen controls you still have partial access to certain aspects of your phone. For example you can still take photos (but cannot see the gallery for privacy) and you can control your music with simple swipe gestures.

Ulefone will be offering their Ulefone Be Touch for sale at just $179.99 on the 8th September between 5-7pm through cooperating online stores. The Be Touch 2 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080 display, 2GB RAM, alloy chassis, 3050mAh battery and iPhone 6 style fingerprint reader.

i’ve been waiting for that too. i think they are avoiding it because ulefone is a sponsor. (this article is obviously a press release from ulefone) in order to avoid a conflict of interest, they avoid reviewing phones from sponsors. that’s just my guess.

Not avoiding. We reviewed the Be Touch One earlier in the year and it makes little point to review this slightly updated model. We only have limited staff and there are more interesting reviews to be done. But if anyone want to offer their own unbiased review I’d be happy to consider it.

I’m wondering if out there is a phone featuring a fast gesture control. It seems like all the phones are too slow…

do not care about gesture control on any phone.

I’ve read many conflicting reviews of the Be Touch 2. is it great or is it crap?

i’ve been using mine for over a month now, honestly i think it’s a good phone with an average OS. it could be better with a more optimized OS. only problem for me is weak GPS.

be touch 2 is still a lousy phone with fake battery and fake android 5.1.

software updates hasnt solved the many problems it has and will face.
