Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe (ZE551ML) 4GB RAM starting $270 via reseller

If brands like Elephone, UMi, etc. aren’t your thing (and if you don’t like waiting in long queues), a new bunch of devices such as the Zenfone 2 Deluxe might be a good alternative.

There’s a few variants of the Zenfone 2 to confuse buyers, but the Deluxe is among the newer ones. What differentiates the Deluxe is the rear panel of the phone, which has a crystal finish to it.

As for the specifications, the Zenfone 2 Deluxe comes with a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p display, a quad-core Intel Z3580 processor, a healthy 4GB of RAM, 32GB of ROM, a 13 mega-pixel rear camera, a 5 mega-pixel front-facing camera and a 3000mAh battery.

The phone is on sale in a select few markets, but if you aren’t from one of those markets, you can proceed to purchase the device via reseller Everbuying who have it on pre-sale for US$269.99 including free shipping worldwide. More information about the product and costs, etc. can be found on the listing which can be accessed here.

Now you see what piece of s**t android is… x86 Intel cpu with that performance could run mid-end desktop games, cad software, office work, …

And what makes you think that they wouldn’t run on android equally well?
Actually MS Office mobile runs better on android than its desktop equivalent…

Also Z3580 is a pretty low end chip by PC standards and a mid-end by mobile standards, so it’s not the best for any comparison.

edit: BTW, the straight lies used in these promo pics are ridiculous. It’s one of the larger 5.5 inchers in the market, yet they market it as “as small as a 5 incher”. Their marketing team should do more research before finding themselves sued.

I was really tempted to buy the Zenfone 2. I even put in an eBay purchased but the seller failed to send and I got a refund. Lucky as I want more than offered. The phone is beautiful if you ask me but it’s lacking with the cameras and software. I’ve heard the camera app is very limited. I’m now waiting for the Elephone Vowney which my only gripe would be if it releases with only one captive button. If I weren’t so fussy with having better than my last phone then I’d be buying a Elephone P8000.

You do realize there are thousands of replacement camera apps? And if software and a good camera are your main priorities, Elephone shouldn’t even be in the discussion. There are much better phones with both good software and camera’s in the same price range.

i think vowney is a good elephone, Zenfone and vowney all have a 5.5 inch display, the 4GB Ram of Zenfone is better than vowney’s 3GB Ram, but the 4100mAh battery is better than Zenfone’ 3ooomAh, they are all have their advantage, more information can get from elephone.cc
