Blackview have shown their rugged BV5000 phone take abuse in a number of scenarios, but this latest video shows the phone survive a multitude of abuse and still come back for more.
Blackview’s rugged phone is the BV5000, and the company are eager to prove that they have one of the toughest smartphones on the planet. The handset comes with a tough glass display, waterproof design and shockproof body.
The video above shows the phone perform the usual walnut smashing test, followed up with a bout of standing in for a chopping board before hammering a handful of nails in the a solid piece of wood.
Gizchina News of the week
Its a good proof that the phone can take a beating, but we are sure there are more exciting and strenuous ways of testing a rugged device to prove its worth. If you have any ideas how you would like to see Blackview test their BV5000 then why not share them with us in the comments below. The BV5000 is available to buy online here.
I like this phone as from this video I know that if it drops on a walnut or a nail I will still have a working phone. Can some one please tell me who would buy this phone because it is so durable you can smash a walnut or a nail?
I suppose I could buy this phone instead of buying 3 separate items – nutcracker, chopping board and hammer… As a bonus, none of the 3 items can make or receive calls and texts, or play games, or can be used to access the internet, but the BV5000 can. That’s a definite plus in my book.

The “ultimate torture test”? Put it on a pile of nokia 3310 and let it be hammered by Chuck Norris’ roundhouse kick… If it is not literally annihilated and there is still at least one piece bigger than 1 micron, then it has passed the test.
Well if you want to prove your better than premium build phones why not use the bv5000 to smash a Galaxy S6 or iPhone 6? I think we all know the outcome of blackview vs the IPhone.

I hope it gets a silicon case that doubles both as a bottle opener and can opener.
Ulefone Be Touch 2 off to a bad start. using a mobile phone to hit a nail and walnuts. This does not prove anything.Chinese mobile phone manufacturers do not understand why so fond of smashing phone.

Absolute fake this phone is, had it for 2 weeks 1st drop tiny chip on screen edge, 2nd week fallen out of pocket smashed completely! Firmware was buggy to start with… dont waste your money, no support from blackview at all and phone is very heavy and always lands on a screen….arc screen is worst you can have on aka shockproof phone.. look for innodeviser bv5000 on google..

I would love to have that kind of display in my BV5000! But no, I had it for 2 days and the display is all scratched! Deep scratch came just by being in my pocket with my car keys!
