There are a certain few Chinese OEMs that we’ve grown used to associating with clones. Off the top of the mind, one is GooPhone. They’re usually proactive and launch an iPhone clone even before the real thing is announced (thanks to the leaks and rumours).
However, there are a tonne other obscure companies in China that are still doing the clone business. Most products that come from these facilities will not have a brand name on them… in fact, if you place an order for a large enough number (typically called ‘MOQ’, minimum order quantity), the factory will slap the whatever brand name on the bodies of the phone that you ask them to.
Here’s an iPhone 6s clone that costs $37 (that’s the selling price, and it looks like its the retail price). That’s not it, the phone also comes in a couple different color options including Rose Gold.

This $37 iPhone 6s clone has a 5-inch 960 x 540p display, a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 ARM Cortex-A7 processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB on-board storage along with support for 3G, dual-SIM, etc. The phone comes complete with an iOS-themed skin, to ensure that the cloning is taken care of to the last bit.
Along with the iPhone 6s clone, you also see a few others including Huawei Mate 7, P8 knockoffs, and more. Which one’s your favourite? Mine’s none…

I want a copy/clone/or whatever of the BLACKBERRY PRIV (THE SLIDER ONE) , hahahaha
but it can cosT a little more so to include these spec’s : mtk6752/53 + 3gb ram + 32gb rom + 3000mah + dual sim and SD-card trio combo as in the Xtouch + fHD + and whatever i like dreaming… they migth do it

Meizu and Huawei use components that cost a lot more than this 1997 special. The iPhone costs Apple $199 to build, Meizu and Huaweis phones arent too far off from that price depending on the model. And then you have to add in additional fees like licensing, advertising, post production. The markup on devices themselves isn’t as great as you think.
