Huawei officially launched the new Huawei Honor 3X and 3C smartphones today putting pressure on Xiaomi’s mid-range and entry-level Android smartphones.
In the past Huawei had launched Honor phones as mid-range devices, but with pressure from Xiaomi’s successful Hongmi, and low-cost mid-range devices from rivals ZTE’s Nubia brands, Huawei have had to reinvent the range.

“The 3X has an odd type of dual-SIM setup that’s just right for China’s
market – one slot uses good ol’ miniSIMs, while the other is a microSIM
slot. Both are 3G-enabled and both support regular 3G (China Unicom,
also worldwide 3G) and China-specific 3G (the China Mobile kind).” – GSMArena
