Meizu MX4 Pro confirmed to launch sometime in November


Vice CEO of Meizu, Li Nan, has continued it conversation about the Meizu MX4 on Weibo by confirming the phone will launch sometime in November.

Originally rumoured to be scheduled for a launch towards the end of October, the Meizu MX4 Pro has now been officially confirmed to launch in November by Li Nan, although an exact date remains a mystery.

The Meizu MX4 Pro will be the true Meizu flagship phone for 2014/2015, and is rumoured to be slightly larger than the current MX4, which a faster Samsung processor, more RAM and a higher price tag.

Li Nan also went on to claim that fans should not expect a phone with a 2K display, Exynos processor, and finger print scanner at the low-price of only 2499 Yuan, stating a 1080 display was more likely. Is the VP being honest or is he attempting a little reverse psychology?

    Mixed feelings about this tbh. Personally I have no interest in 2K due to the increased battery drain and performance hit. A larger size is disappointing too, I think oneplus is too big and was hoping for something smaller. I’m also disappointed by the fingerprint scanner design if it is the one rumoured, seems like a step backward…

    I like the big screens I’ve got a 5.7 inch vivo xplay and could go for something bigger maybe the 6 inch xplay 3s or something similar I hope the new meizu phone comes with a 6 inch screen and a big battery.

  3. While I also have mixed feelings regarding the above, I would definitely love to see the end result and how it differs from the ‘standard’ version!

    wouldnt be a huge issue but international owners have no real warranty with this type of phone. When i wanted to get my mx3 repaired they pretty much told me to buy a new one because repairs would be extremly expensive.

    Stay small and humble. Outside of china your still the iphone clone. Act like it lol.
