Leaked: JiaYu S4 specs point at 4.7-inch, 64bit flagship

JiaYu’s range of ’S’ series flagships might be welcoming a small 4.7-inch 64bit device in the coming weeks named the JiaYu S4.

JiaYu have a special place in our hearts for being one of the best manufacturers of Mediatek smartphones in China. They aren’t perfect, they are slow to launch and update for example, but when they design a new phone they know what it takes to push our buttons.

The JiaYu S4 is one such device, and judging by what we know so far it is going to be in a league of its own! at 4.7-inch, the S4 is much smaller than any other flagship phone on the market today and with 2GB RAM and a 64Bit processor, JiaYu haven’t cut any corners.

Final details are to be confirmed but we do know that there will be dual SIM support, LTE and the phone will use one of the new Mediatek 64bit processors (either a quad-core or octacore).

Jiayu also recently posted news of their upcoming JiaYu S3 flagship and entry-level JiaYu F2 smartphones.

  No kidding, I’ve been aiming for an Mi4 with 4G/LTE support so far, but if this would all be true, it would certainly be a serious competitor to the Xiaomi flagship phone.

I read this site with pleasure, but all assumptions and terms, I get confused.
Flagship , midrange, budget phones.
It may be possible to make, a spreadsheet with the different processor types.
So you can easily see what is what .
Now you have a phone with the mtk6592 in it but a screen of 702/1080 while another in the same price range has a resolution of 1080/1920.
I understand that there are more mobile phones then churches , but i think that the readers of this site would be happy with it

      MTK6592 phones and MTK6589T phones with 2000mAh batteries both last for around the same amount of time. People who say 8-core MTK processors consume more energy than quad core MTK processors simply don’t know much about MTK processors.
      And no, a quad core MTK phone is NOT sufficient enough for a top of the range smartphone. Anyone who owned an MTK6589T phone with a FHD display knows that there’s always going to be occasional stuttering and slight lag when opening certain apps.
      Finally, no, there is no thing as a geesez fuck. There are, however, idiots like you who make up words and facts, love being racist towards others, make the dumbest assumptions, don’t know how to calculate math at all and can’t learn proper grammar.
      But you’re an idiot, so I’ll give you a free pass.

        It’s not about cores. It’s about videochip. 6589(T) had average SGX544, AFAIK with even MP1.

        True. Still, I don’t see why this phone should have a weaker processor than the S3. It’s supposed to be an alternative to it, not a cheaper budget version with a smaller screen.
