Start-up Zeaplus have kicked off pre-orders for their Zeaplus Mi4 smartphone which costs only $99.
Although we at GizChina aren’t huge fans of clone phones, there is something to be said about a $99 smartphone which boosts a 720p HD display, quad-core processor, Gorilla Glass display and metal chassis.
Gizchina News of the week
Also seen as the No. Mi4 and Elephone P4000, the Zeaplus M4 isn’t a unique phone by any stretch of the imagination, but for the phone it is a compelling product. To sweeten the dealer even further, Zeaplus are also throwing in a flip case and screen protector too.
Zeaplus are a new smartphone maker from China who are focused on launching low-cost phones with high end features and design. The company also claim to have a distribution hub located somewhere in Europe to cut down tax and shipping costs.
@Andi Clone ? i opened Pleco app and when i type C-L-O-N-E the app crashed
Unfortunately, there are still shipping costs (about 30 US dollar) on top of 99 us dollar. So, it basically about the same price as the other Mi4 clones.
On the positive site, it will ship from EU warehouse, so no tax.
Why you really going to moan about the price in the UK it would come under £85 and there wouldn’t be tax because they have a EU warehouse. Some people are just not pleased its cheap where ever you get it
Because 99 USD dollar is a better price than 130 USD dollar. And why can’t I talk about the price. At this price point, you can buy Snapdragon 400 phones. Although there is a possibility that you have to pay tax, at least the GPS is working fine. You can’t tell that of this phone or other Mediatek chipsets.
Did you also look at the dimensions of this phone? This phone is overall larger than Mi4 and even Meizu MX4 which got a 5,4 inch screen if the dimensions are true.
You do realize that 2100 is the most widely used 3G band in the world? There is no “international” band bigger than 2100. 850 isn’t too far behind either.
Waiting for the Zeaplus M6…
