Large battery phones are no longer a thing of the past, and one of the most cost effective we have seen so far appears to be the Bluboo X550. Check out more in this promo video.

The Bluboo X550 is on presale at the moment for around $159.99. That’s the same price as the upcoming UMi eMax and the special price that Elephone offered on their P7000, but there is a major benefit for going for the X550 and that’s is juice!

The battery in the Bluboo X550 is a rather large 5300mAh and comes with Mediatek’s own Pump Express charging system for very fast recharge time. Other details can be seen in the promotional viceo below, but highlights include a 13 mega-pixel camera, 2GB RAM, 5.5-inch display, Android 5.1, and 64bit processor.

Might have to get this for battery longevity. Even though it doesnt have as much power and RAM as I would want.

I was actually going to order this, simply becasue of the battery and narrow bezzels. But once again.. The thin bezzels was not thin really..

I feel like its being deceptive, never showing a real picture from the side. How fat is this thing to fit such a large battery?

Gezz, what’s up with most phones being released being 5.5 inch!? 5.2 with good screen ocupation is the maximum i would go! Do people like to have wood boards on their pockets?

Edit: What’s Andrid 5.1? New feature?

Edit nº2: Andriod? I’m so behind new features…
