At $499.99 will you pre-order a Huawei Nexus 6P tomorrow?

If you are in the U.S, UK, Ireland, Canada or Japan you will be able to pre-order the Huawei Nexus 6P tomorrow (29th September) for $499.99, so are you going to?

Sometime tomorrow, Google are expected to release the official specifications and prices of the new Nexus devices. This time around there are going to be 2 Nexus phones, but it is the larger Huawei Nexus that we are most interested in (being a Chinese phone and all).

While Google haven’t officially announced either Nexus (at the time of writing) there have been enough leaks for us to be fairly certain of the specifications. I’m sure you haven’t missed the leaks but if you had, Nexus 6P parameters include a 5.7-inch WQHD display, Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3450mAh battery, dual front facing speakers and Android 6.0.

So how much exactly will the Huawei Nexus 6P cost? Android Police seem fairly certain that a 32GB Nexus 6P is going to set you back $499.99 and will be up for pre-sale soon after the official launch. Nexus fans win the U.S, UK, Ireland, Canada and Japan will be the first to have the chance to order the Marshmallow equipped phone.

Pricing for the larger memory 64GB and 128GB models hasn’t been made known yet, but they aren’t going to be cheap!

With those specs and that price in mind are you likely to be ordering the latest Google phone?

You need to read the Engadget.com hands on review for the device before you write ir off. The ran a lot of tests on it and they gave it an absolute thumbs up and rave review from the camera down the the massive battery. They say the camera can stand with the best of them toe to toe and not give an inch and they even ran stress tests to see if it would heat up and not a single sign of banking-pan syndrome. They were throwing heavy graphics games at it and all kinds of stuff to make it heat up but it stayed cool. This is obviously a new revision of the 810 since i know there was a v2 and v3 versions so this must be the new v4 rehash of the chip with some really polished work done to it. Go read the review…

obviously you don’t get the jokes, but anyway, since you’re assuming that i don’t read before writing down i want to let you know that this is not rev 4 but it’s the rev 2.1 ,

same of Oneplus 2 and Xiaomi Note Pro which they don’t heat up significally (the 8xx series of snapdragon run a little “warm”).

the problem with this SoC though Is that it throttles after few minutes of usage (probably to prevent overheating).

it’s not my opinion, the fact that the SD810 isn’t a great SoC has been proved several times by the experts of the field.

I’m sure the phone is awesome, but priced badly in my opinion especially if you consider that you can get a Galaxy S6 on eBay for as low as 430$.

I hate Samsung very much but I’m not silly to think that this Nexus can compete with the S6 which has the best current SoC, fast storage technology, wireless charge…. you name it!

let me show you something that worth more than thousands words.
i was looking at the deals here on Gizchina store and look what i’ve found:

              shop.gizchina.com/letv/letv-le-one-pro-smartphone-312.html

(hey Andi, you guys must be out of your mind!!!)

299$ for a phone with great reviews, SD810 rev 2.1 (same as this Nexus) 4GB ram, 32GB storage.

              Oneplus 2 starts from 329$.

i would totally go with any of these 2 above, get a Redmi Note 2 as backup phone, get a couple of beers and i would spend less than this Nexus.

              but that’s just my opinion.

There’s absolutely nothing exciting about this phone. Specs seem just right, but nothing to make me wanna rush to rip 500$ out of my wallet. I think they’ll find out soon, it’s not just my opinion.

It`s not that bad actually, I was expecting a 599$ price point, but still would rather give my money for s Zenfone 2 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB Storage at 349$.

People dont seem to care about real camera performance battery life and overall Real quality seal and guaranty These Days , all they want is dayumn 4 gb Ram for 349

I fail to agree as most people don`t know what RAM actually is or what is used for, hell most confuse RAM and ROM till this day!
So, general public just needs it to look cool and be a brand name so they can brag with it.

Agreed – 2 gb is a moderate number and enough for stock android and most uses (even gaming)

When there is meizu pro 5 at the same price it’s a really difficult desicion.
We should also wait for what mi5 will bring in matter of design and price.
I don’t think the last quarter of 2015 is the right time to buy a phone.Early 2016 will be more suitable

Good price. I don’t see any better-spec’d device for this price from competing brands. But I won’t get one, since even 5.5″ is a bit too big for me.
