Apple (iPhone 6s), Gionee and now Huawei have confirmed big launches for the Indian market. Gionee said it would launch the Elife E8 on the 8th this month, while Honor, the Huawei sub-brand for the budget conscious has announced it will launch the Honor 7 on the 7th.
If you aren’t aware already, the Honor 7 is quite a smartphone. The device has already tasted success in its home country of China after which is made its way to Europe. The phone is now set to take the Silk Route to the Indian market.
In only two days from now, the Honor 7 will be launched in India. There’s, of course, no word on the pricing as yet, but thanks to the phone already being official in a multitude of markets, we have a fair idea about how much it’ll cost in the country: roughly about 21,000 INR.
The Honor 7 comes with a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080p display and is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 935 processor that comes from the house of Huawei itself. With that, the phone has 3GB of RAM, 16GB/64GB of on-board ROM, a 20 mega-pixel camera on the rear, an 8 mega-pixel camera on the front and lastly, a non-removable 3100mAh battery.
The OnePlus 2, Meizu MX5, etc. will be some phones that will rival the Honor 7 in India.
