Purported press images show the final design of the new Huawei P9 with dual camera design, metal body and fingerprint scanner.
Huawei are likely to launch the new Huawei P9 after MWC sometime this month (or early next), but they seem to be finding it hard to keep the phone a secret as press images of the phone have shown up in various colours.
The images show the all metal phone in gold, white, pink and grey colour options, all versions showing off a dual camera design with dual LED flash and laser auto focus. The metal chassis also has a fingerprint scanner in the rear.
Gizchina News of the week
From the front the images show that Huawei will remain true to their onscreen Android navigation, and that the system will be once again based on Huawei’s own Emotion UI.
Specifications for the Huawei P9 include a 5.2-inch FHD display (the same size as the Xiaomi Mi5), 4GB RAM, 8 mega-pixel front camera, dual 12 mega-pixel rear cameras, 2900mAh battery and powerful Kirin 955 chipset.

Pricing is likely to start at around 1999 Yuan for a basic version with China Mobile support and 16GB memory, while a top of the range version with full network support and more memory (poss 128GB) is going to cost considerably more.
The iPhone 6 is a mix of the iPhone 5 and the iPod Touch.
Believing that Apple copies the design of HTC is ridiculous.
You are broadening the subject.
So
1 the iPhone 6 is a mix of the 5 and Touch
2 the only thing Apple copied from Google is the notification tray. And Google basically copied everything to change Android when the iPhone came out so…
HTC One M7 + Desire 613 = Iphone 6.
If you think the only thing Apple copied was notifications you are one of the most diehard iSheep I have ever come across and you live in severe denial.
Ad hominem, end of the discussion.
End of discussion because you’re wrong lol.
Actually the notification feature was published in Cydia AppStore (Jailbreak AppStore), afterwards Android implemented in their OS.
Basically you’ll find many Android features in Cydia.
Never said you wouldn’t Android copies a lot, Apple copies a lot, Samsung copies a lot. It’s Industry wide.
I think you’re both partly right. Apple obviously set out to adopt the contours of the iPod Touch, but when choosing the antenna design they opted for something decidedly HTC.
Let’s face it, Apple didn’t have to make the color difference between the plastic antenna bands and metal body so stark. After all, the color of the plastic doesn’t affect the antenna’s performance.
At the end of the day, who cares who copied what from who? The important thing is that both platforms have benefited greatly from borrowing and trying to improve upon each’s good ideas. That’s good for folks in both camps.
