Coolpad’s entry into the high-end market in India happens to be the Coolpad Max, which is a 24,999 INR ($371) phone with a Snapdragon 617 inside, along with 4GB of RAM.
I completely love how the phone is built and how it feels in the hands. However, it clearly isn’t the most powerful $370 phone around. That was for what we had to say, let’s take a quick look over the specs and see what the benchmarks have in store.

Here is what the phone manages with its SD617+4GB RAM config:
- AnTuTu: 43462
- Vellamo Metal: 1215
- Vellamo Browser: 1790 (Chrome)
- Vellamo Multicore: 1741
Despite the scores being fairly low for a $371, I’ve had a rather nice experience with the phone so far. That said, expect a detailed log in the review which will be posted very soon.
Unfair price.
my friends, you can get a Mi5 for 24999 in India, so why buy this bad phone if you can have a phone from the beloved brand with better specifications at same price. Thanks your your support dears
SD 617 over 250$ is a definite NO.
