Vivo have launched the Y66 smartphone in the Indian market to compete against the rising competition and increasing demand. Vivo’s sister company OPPO is known for a few of their selfie phones as well.
The Y66 is a Snapdragon 430 powered smartphone along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB ROM on-board. The phone sports a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720p HD display, so the display isn’t quite as stellar as the selfie camera on top of it that clocks in at 16 mega-pixel.

On the rear, the Vivo Y66 has a 13 mega-pixel camera. It comes with a hybrid SIM slot as well, which has in many ways become a norm for phones of this day and age.
The Vivo Y66 is priced at 14,990 INR in India, or roughly $230. Vivo’s offline strategies will help with sales; for the online buyers in India, other more attractive options exist in the likes of the Redmi Note 4, Moto’s G5 series, etc.
