After the successful NOMU S10 launched last year, the Chinese phone maker is now working on its successor, namely called NOMU S10 Pro. The new smartphone will feature the same beautiful design of the predecessor but equip more RAM, internal storage and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Another improvement we’ll find on the S10 Pro is its waterproof rating. The original NOMU S10 was IP68 water and dust proof rated and could be immersed in 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes.
Gizchina News of the week
The new S10 Pro will instead be able to withstand up to 2 meters of depth for one hour. The company calls this rating IP69.
The NOMU S10 Pro will come to the market in early October, so NOMU customers or potential ones might be glad to hear that. NOMU has also worked on a new website, you can check it out over here if you’re interested in the latest news from the company.
There is no IP69, there is IP69K but it has nothing to do with immersion of 2 meters, it has to do with ability to withstand high pressure cleaning.
