A few weeks ago, Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, released a series of smartphones which include flagship Huawei P20 Pro. This smartphone has achieved a dazzling performance on DxOMark and it is considered to have the best camera system in the smartphone industry. Now, this device is receiving its first software update which includes the March security patch with some bug fixes.
The new update of the EMUI 8.1 (based on Android 8.1 Oreo) brings the firmware to version CLT-L29 8.1.0.107 (C432) and weighs 3.46 GB. Despite the colossal dimensions, the changelog (as shown in the screenshot above) appears quite skimpy. Some issues regarding the Themes app and software optimizations were fixed. This update also comes with Google security patch updated to March 2018. Given the amount of data to be downloaded, we strongly recommend that you only update via Wi-Fi. Furthermore, if you have not yet received the notification, you will need to be patient and wait for the update to take its course.
