With or without the Galaxy S10, the month of February will witness the launch of a bunch of smartphones from top Chinese and non-Chinese OEMs. VIVO is one of such OEMs, and ahead of the MWC conference in Barcelona, Chinse OEM – VIVO has sent out invites for a launch event on February 20, 2019 in India.

It is widely believed that we’ll see the rumored VIVO V15 with pop up camera similar the VIVO NEX at the event, and indeed, the Feb. 20 invite alongside a phone sketch with a pop-up camera has the hashtag ‘There’s a new pop-star in town.’, which alludes to the rumor of a VIVO phone with a pop-up camera.

Gizchina News of the week

Aside from sporting similar selfie camera mechanism as the vivo NEX smartphones, leaked case renders of the VIVO V15 suggests the device could come with a triple rear camera setup, possibly an in-display fingerprint scanner as well as an extra key for communicating with Jovi personal assistant.

Further details about the device should become clearer soon, as they’re still a couple of days left before the  Feb. 20th launch date.
