At this point I’m sure you already know that Huawei has announced its own foldable Mate X smartphone just a few days after Samsung did the same with its Galaxy Fold.
There are some important differences between both devices, starting with the fold mode. While the Samsung Galaxy Fold folds inward and therefore requires an external display, the Huawei Mate X is folded out, so it only has a large screen.

Another important difference is the price because while the Galaxy Fold will cost $1,980, the Huawei Mate X will cost 2,600$
Today, Huawei has launched its first TV ad for the foldable phone. The ad does not show any features of the phone other than the folding capabilities of the device.
In other words, the 30-second ad is designed to arouse the buyer’s interest in the new form factor.
