Huawei Mate 20X 5G is the second 5G smartphone by Huawei after the Huawei Mate X foldable phone which is yet to hit the market. Earlier, there were reports that the Mate 20X 5G will hit the market in June. However, that did not materialize after the carrier canceled the sales due to the US ban on Huawei. Nevertheless, this smartphone has finally hit the market via Etisalat in the UAE. Potential buyers of this smartphone will have to part with AED3,523 ($960).

In addition, this smartphone is also available on Amazon Italy but potential buyers will have to pay €1,099 ($1,240). On July 22, the first outright sale of this device will take place in Italy while it will sell in China on July 26.
Spec-wise the device retains the same specs as the standard Huawei Mate 20X including its huge 7.2-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2,244 x 1,080) resolution and a waterdrop-style notch, three rear cameras, Huawei’s homegrown Kirin 980 processor as well as the all-important Balong 5000 5G modem needed for the 5G network. The rear is fitted with a Leica-approved triple camera array, comprising of a 40MP wide lens, a 20MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. The Mate 20 X (5G) ships with 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and a 4,200 mAh cell with 40W charging.
