Two days ago, a Vivo smartphone with a V1936AL model number was spotted at TENAA’s database. Judging by the specifications listed by the Chinese regulatory agency, and the model number, we believe that it could be a new smartphone under the popular Vivo iQOO Neo series. Now, it is basically confirmed, since TENAA’s database now includes a couple of pictures revealing the smartphone. It boasts a characteristic design and the iQOO logo is also present in the rear.
Gizchina News of the week
Could it be a new Vivo iQOO Neo 855?
The new smartphone boasts a 6.38-inch waterdrop display with likely an FHD+ resolution. The new handset features a triple-camera setup on the rear and there is a purple gradient finish on this unit. According to the listing, the handset has the dimensions that will be 159.53 × 75.23 × 8.13mm overall dimensions. So we can say that it is a pretty thin smartphone. Interestingly enough, it has the same dimensions of the iQOO Neo 855, so we believe that it is just a new variant of this handset.
Unfortunately, TENAA is yet to upload the complete specifications. The Vivo iQOO Neo 855 came back in October with an affordable price tag of CNY1,998 ($283). It even got a special variant in China under the Vivo iQOO Neo 855 ‘Flying Horse of Gansu’ moniker. If this is indeed a new variant, we are curious to see what will be the actual point of it.
