Google Photos will allow you to zoom in on your videos

Google Photos application is getting a new update that will allow you to zoom in on the videos. The function is currently hidden, but should soon be activated by Google.

Google Photos app is still getting new updates, which is becoming more and more feature-rich. The service recently had the right to a rapid sharing function. But also the integration of a document scanner, without forgetting the advanced recognition of faces.

With version 4.33 of the application, the XDA-Developers site has discovered a new function, the activation of which is currently hidden.

Google Photos: Zoom in while watching your videos with a gesture

XDA-Developers explains that it managed to activate a hidden function in the latest version of Google Photos. But does not explain its method.

This function allows you to zoom in the videos from the gallery simply with the famous pinch to zoom gestures. A welcome addition as our smartphones are more and more efficient for filming videos and capturing memories. In all likelihood, this function should soon be activated by Google.

Gizchina News of the week

It is worth to mention that recently, Google Photos on the Web has started receiving a new video editor, more or less on par with the one released for Android and iOS about a year and a half ago. Not much can be done: there is no support for filters or for overlaying text, just like in the app. However, you can insert photos, live photos and clips, you can replace the background music, but only with other songs from the Google library, not with anything you can choose. You can of course cut and shorten videos.
