Huawei Mate Xs pre-orders will go live in Switzerland on March 2

Today after the official announcement of the Huawei Mate Xs, the new revised foldable phone from Huawei has been listed on a major Swiss retailer’s website. The foldable smartphone is going on pre-order starting March 2 while units will ship two weeks later on March 16. The foldable device retails for CHF 2,499 ($2,563/€2,356).

Yesterday, the company also confirmed the arrival of the Mate Xs on Huawei’s domestic market in China. There, the handset will cost CNY 16,999 and will land only on March 5. Considering the start of Chinese shipments, customers in Switzerland can expect to receive it a few days, or weeks later.

The listing wants to avoid possible misunderstandings and mentions the lack of Google Mobile Services. Instead, we have Huawei’s suite of apps in the form of HMS. We are curious to see if global customers will mod this foldable device in the future to make it run Google Applications.
