After releasing the Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro in March this year, Oppo shifted its focus to the Reno series. The Reno series conquered the world last year with powerful smartphones and competitive prices. For that reason, it makes sense for the company to keep the Find X series as a premium smartphone lineup while the Reno series comes for those looking for a more affordable experience. On June 5, the company announced the Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro 5G boasting the 5G-enabled Snapdragon 765G SoC. Since then, there has been a lot of speculation pointing to the launch of the aforementioned devices in India and other regions. Reno 4 was certified in Thailand last month suggesting the launch in South East Asia. Now, Reno 4 accumulated a foot set of certifications which confirms its launch in SEA and also in the global markets.
The Oppo Reno 4 Pro will be slightly different
The handset already got TUV Rheinland approval, followed by Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance. The Reno 4 carries the CPH2089 model number while the Reno 4 Pro carries the CPH2091 serial. These certifications are part of an important process that happens before a smartphone is launched outside of China. Once that a device gets these important certifications, we can pretty much conclude that it is pretty near of reaching the shores.
