Realme X7 Max retail box reveals specifications of the device!

Realme was supposed to launch its much-awaited Realme X7 Max smartphone in the Indian market today. The company planned a special launch event to celebrate its three-year anniversary. We were also expecting the company to unveil its new smart TV for the masses. Due to the ongoing second wave of COVID-19 in the country, the Chinese smartphone maker decided to postpone the event for the time being. While the event has been delayed, a new leak has managed to keep the hype alive.

Realme X7 Max key specs surface on the web amid the delay in the launch!

A Twitter user @Gadgetsdata has posted an image of what he claims to be a portion of a retail box of the upcoming Realme X7 Max smartphone. The live box image or the portion of it reveals key specs of the device. As you can see in the tweet, the image mentions the Realme X7 Max moniker itself while also revealing two key specs. We’re looking at the Dimensity 1200 chipset and a 120Hz refresh rate. As you can see, the SoC is also capable of 5G connectivity.

The user further mentions that the retail box of the device looks similar to that of Realme X7 and X7 Pro. Well, this makes sense considering all three devices belong to the same family of generation. The tweet also mentions that the device is more of a rebranded version of Realme GT Neo. We’ve been hearing this for quite some time now. It is worth noting that the revealed two key specs can also be found on the Realme GT Neo. This further solidifies the authenticity of the statement.

While we now have some information related to the X7 Max smartphone, there’s no clue as to what we should expect from the brand in terms of television. Maybe we might hear some more information in the coming weeks. With that said, Realme X7 Max could be India’s first smartphone with Deminsity 1200 chipset.

There’s no revised schedule for the event – at least for now!

While Realme has announced that it is postponing the event, the company didn’t reveal any revised schedule. This means that we might not see the event happening for at least a couple of months. With that said, the decision of postponing the event is also a welcome one as the country is currently facing an immense battle with the second wave of coronavirus.
