In June of this year, Huawei officially released its self-developed operating system, HarmonyOS 2. The upgrade to HarmonyOS 2.0 is the largest in Huawei’s history. The company is ensuring that all its smartphones run on HarmonyOS. This will give the system a good ecosystem and usability. According to the company, since the rollout of this update, over 25 million smartphones now have the update. According to the latest announcement from the Huawei Pollen Club, Huawei nova 5, Huawei nova 5i Pro, and Huawei nova 5z are now getting the HarmonyOS 2.0 beta.
The HarmonyOS 2.0 system for these models has been in internal testing. With all good, the public beta is now available for these smartphones. It is worth mentioning that Huawei’s nova 5 series models are non-flagship models launched by Huawei in 2019. According to an internal beta tester, the performance of old smartphones on HarmonyOS is impeccable. The coverage of HarmonyOS so far means that all the mainstream models after 2019 already have this system. Of course, we can safely say that the coverage so far is very extensive.
As of now, over 69 Huawei and Honor models already have the HarmonyOS update. However, according to the company, before the end of the year, over 100 models will have the update. This update will be available for smartphones, tablets, smart screens, and other devices. This year, the company plans to bring the HarmonyOS experience to more than 200 million users.
