Vivo Y75 India Launch Imminent, Specs Leaked Before Official Unveiling

The Vivo Y75 smartphone’s India launch has been officially confirmed. Also, the phone’s full specs have surfaced online. Vivo India is on the verge of unveiling another Y-series phone. The Chinese tech company has started sharing teasers of Vivo Y75 on social media. Now, these teasers give us a glimpse into the upcoming handset’s design. However, the brand is keeping the Vivo Y75 India launch date under the wraps. Nevertheless, the phone continues to float around the rumor mill.

Vivo did not shy away from showing the phone in full glory in the teaser. Notably, the Vivo Y75 will be available in Dancing Waves and Moonlight Shadow color options. Further, it is likely to cost less than INR 20,000 in India. The phone could hit the store shelves in India in the coming days. An earlier report suggests that Vivo Y75 will launch in India on May 22. However, Vivo has neither confirmed nor denied this speculation. The Vivo Y75 could get a MediaTek Helio G96 processor, as per the leak. Moreover, the phone will probably use a 4050mAh battery. Aside from this, it will feature an AMOLED display, and house a 50MP main camera. However, the upcoming Vivo Y-series phone will be a 4G version of the Vivo Y75 5G. To recap, the Vivo Y75 5G went official earlier this year with notable upgrades over its predecessor. However, the 4G model retains the design of its 5G counterpart.

Vivo Y75 Full Specs Surfaces Online Before India Launch

The leaked poster suggests that the Y75 will sport a 6.44-inch AMOLED display. Further, the display could offer a Full HD+ resolution. Also, it shows an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone will come with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor. Moreover, it will pack a Mali G57 GPU for graphics. The Vivo Y75 will ship with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Moreover, the phone supports storage expansion of up to 1TB. You can use the micro-SD card slot to expand the internal storage.

For optics, the phone will have three cameras on the back. First off, it will house a 50MP main camera, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle. Aside from this, the Y75 will feature a 2MP super macro sensor on the back. Upfront, the phone will have a 44MP selfie camera. This front shooter has an f/2.0 aperture and supports video calling. A robust 4050mAh battery unit will be powering up the entire system. Further, this cell supports 44W FlashCharge fast charging. The device features a Type-C port for charging and data transfer.

The Y75 will boot Android 11 with FunTouchOS 12 on top, as per a report by MySmartPrice. The phone weighs 172 grams and its dimensions are 160.87 × 74.28 × ~7.4mm. Lastly, the Y75 seems to adopt a flat frame design.
