iQOO 9T Gets BIS Certified Ahead Of India Launch
Moreover, the iQOO 9T has been certified by the Indian BIS certification website. Notably, the handset carries model number I2201 in the BIS listing. The certifying authority clears products before they hit on the store shelves in the country. So, it is safe to assume that the iQOO 9T could launch in India soon. Further, the 9T could pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset. However, it is unclear whether it will be the first phone to arrive in India with the latest chip.
Alternatively, the OnePlus 10T could turn out to be the first handset to launch in India with the chipset. Now, the 10T could launch in the country around the same time. However, details about the OnePlus 10T India launch date are still scarce. The iQOO 9T will reportedly sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. Also, this display could deliver a refresh rate of 120Hz. The report does not reveal the display resolution. Nevertheless, it will offer at least HD screen resolution.
Further, the iQOO 9T could support 2K or quad HD resolution. Also, the handset will probably ship with up to 12GB of RAM. It could offer 256GB of onboard storage as well. To recall, iQOO launched the Neo 6 recently with the same RAM and storage. So, the brand is likely to offer at least that in the upcoming flagship-grade smartphone. For optics, the 9T could house three rear-mounted cameras. Also, it will support 120W fast charging. The BIS certification doesn’t mention any key specifications.
