A few days ago, reports started to tease the Vivo X90 series’ launch in India. Now, we have an official confirmation, the compelling flagship camera devices are set to debut on April 26. To those unaware, the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro reached international markets in February, but they have been absent from the Indian market. In the next week, Indian customers will finally be able to grab these ZEISS-powered camera smartphones.
Vivo India scheduled an event for April 26 at 12:00 PM local time. As we’ve mentioned before, Vivo unveiled only the vanilla and Pro variants in Europe. Therefore, we expect India to also get these two variants. The Vivo X90 Pro+ remains exclusive to the Chinese market, and we don’t think this will change anytime soon. The exclusive variant is the only one with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the other two are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200.
Vivo X90 and X90 Pro specifications
Both Vivo X90 and X90 Pro bring 6.78-inch AMOLED panels with centered punch-hole and 2,800 x 1260 pixels of resolution. Both have a 120 Hz refresh rate with HDR 10+ support. Under the hood, both devices carry the same 4nm Dimensity 9200 with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of Internal Storage. It’s unclear what variants will make their way to India, but the Vivo X90 starts with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of Storage, while the X90 Pro doubles it to 256 GB of Storage.
