POCO Pad Launch Date Confirmed
Despite the anticipation, POCO has yet to specify the exact launch date for the Pad in India. The device will be available exclusively through the Flipkart e-commerce platform. The brand has been gradually revealing certain features, including a promise of “limitless entertainment.” The tablet is depicted with slender bezels encircling the display. As the launch date approaches, further elucidation of the device’s capabilities is anticipated.
Gizchina News of the week
The POCO Pad was introduced to global markets in May this year. However, it remains uncertain if the Indian variant will feature different specifications. Interestingly, the Redmi Pad has been available in India since last week, boasting identical specs to the POCO Pad. This overlap necessitates that POCO distinguish their device from the Redmi Pad Pro through some unique enhancements or features.
The Pad boasts a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 2.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 600 nits peak brightness. It also supports Dolby Vision. There are also quad-speakers with Dolby Atmos. The tablet sports a metal body and two rings on the back panel that houses a single 8 MP sensor. Under the hood, the POCO Pad flaunts a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor coupled with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage. It has a 10,000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The device runs HyperOS-based Android 14 straight out of the box. The POCO Pad is also compatible with a stylus pen and a keyboard.
