Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is currently working on its next iteration of flagship device namely iQOO Neo 3. The smartphone will see its official unveiling on April 23 in its homeland i.e. China. Since the official announcement, the company is publishing numerous teasers revealing key details bit by bit. This time the smartphone maker has posted an official short video teaser on its Weibo channel.
iQOO Neo 3 Official Teaser Video Reveals Punch-Hole Design
The new teaser short video talks about the speed of the upcoming Neo 3 smartphone. Surprisingly, the company revealed the front-design of the device. As per the teaser video, Vivo iQOO Neo 3 will arrive with a punch-hole cutout located on the top-right corner. The punch-hole cutout houses the single front snapper for selfies and video calling.
Gizchina News of the week
A couple of days ago, the company confirmed that the device will arrive with a high refresh rate of 144Hz. For those who’re unaware, the original Neo 3 comes with a 120Hz refresh rate panel. Sadly, the teaser video didn’t reveal the back of the device although it should be pretty similar to the previous offering.
According to the previous report, the device will arrive with a price tag of CNY 2,998 (~$425 / €389). This means that it might become the cheapest Snapdragon 865 SoC smartphone. If this pricing is to go by, the device will directly compete with the likes of Redmi K30 smartphone.
Expected Specs, Features
Looking at the previous teasers, the upcoming iQOO Neo 3 will come with a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Apart from this, the device will also make use of UFS 3.1 flash memory and LPDDR5 memory. Considering previous leaks, we might see an LCD display panel with this device to keep the pricing on the cheaper side. This suggests that a side or rear physical fingerprint sensor will be present instead of the in-display sensor.
